Taking Philosophy. Its sad that in a semester filled with 300 level classes Philosophy 102 is the one I'm having issues with.

Could be worse. I dropped out of my masters because I ran out of cash, can't get a fucking job. :(

Makes sense: The class the most outside of normal thinking.

Philosophy and art stuff was always the worst!

My school required 4 semesters of philosophy and 3 semesters of religion no matter what your major was. Some were enjoyable and some were a pain but, beyond a basic logic class, I don't know that any should have been required.

Gah, I had to take two semesters, and failed the second so I had to retake it over the summer.

I'll say tho, those and the Classics classes (don't ask me why) have had the most impact in my adult life.

That's because philosophy is bullshit. Hated the class I had to take.

I did manage to work in a Conan the Barbarian quote into a paper, though.

Imagine that philosophy or literature majors were required, for some traditional, archaic reason, to take one Engineering course as a requisite for graduation, and you were the professor. How would you teach that course?

I Kant even into philosophy, it just isn't my Nietzsche. Get it? Sorry, couldn't help myself.

I actually really like philosophy and have a small collection for fun reading.

Its just the language. Attempting to follow whats being said in some of the readings is ridiculous. Also the incredible amount of circular logic and general superiority in the words is fairly annoying.
